RE: PLAN REVIEW COMMENTS FOR PLAN CHECK # 2007-1241
DECK AT 16919 76TH AVENUE WEST
Dear Mr. Jones:
I have reviewed the above building permit application for the Planning Division. Before I can
sign off on the permit, however, I will need the following information:
1. Geotech Report. Because the addition to your deck is proposed to be constructed in
or adjacent to a geologically hazardous area (as determined by examination of your
Critical Areas Checklist – CRA20070162), a geotechnical engineering report is
required. Your engineer will need to characterize the hazard and generate a report
describing how the deck can be safely completed while minimizing the impact on the
area. Report requirements are described in the Edmonds Community Development
Code (ECDC) Section 23.80.050.
Please make all submittals to a Development Services Permit Coordinator, Monday through
Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm – we are closed Wednesdays. If you have any questions, feel free to
