Dear Mr. Faden:
I have reviewed the above building permit application for the Planning Division, and it
was found that the following information, corrections, or clarifications will need to be
addressed before review can continue:
Elevation View:
1.Please provide elevation views of the eastern side of the building
showing both the current view of the eastern side of the building and showing the
proposed changes (i.e. the new door openings, etc.) to this side of the building.
Height:
2.It was noted that vents/fans will need to be added/expanded to provide
sufficient ventilation for the proposed work. Please provide an elevation view of
the structure showing all proposed rooftop mechanical equipment. This can be
done on the same elevation view as discussed in Item #1. Additionally, please
provide the height of the existing building and the height to the tops of the proposed
vents/fans.
Screening:
3.Pursuant to ECDC 20.11.030.A.3, “Mechanical equipment or other
utility hardware on the roof, grounds or buildings should be screened from view
from the street level.” Please show how the new exterior vents/fans will be
screened from view.
Please make all submittals to a Development Services Permit Coordinator, Monday
through Friday, excluding Wednesdays, between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm. If you have any
