Before I can sign off on the permit, however, the following information needs to be clarified: 1. Site Plan: The scale on the site plan is incorrect. Please submit three correctly scaled site plans (one reduced size). In addition, the site plan indicates the setback on Water Street to be 8’. According to your letter in support of using the Average Front Setback, the setback on Water Street is proposed to be 8’ 6”. Please change the distance on the site plan to match average front setback proposal. Also, it appears that the southeastern corner of the garage is projecting slightly into the setback along Soundview Place. This may simply be due to an error in reproduction; however, please confirm and ensure that the garage and all proposed structures meet the required setbacks. 2. Height Calculation: Because Points B & D of the height rectangle fall outside of the parcel boundary, their elevations must be recalculated as the average elevation of the two points where the rectangle crosses the property line. As a result of these changes, please verify the height calculations on the site plan and elevation drawings and correct as necessary. In addition, Points C & D must be moved slightly to the west by approximately 5’ to include the entirety of the deck at the southwestern corner of the house. 3. Lot Area: The Snohomish County Assessor’s information indicates that the lot area is 0.52 acres or approximately 22,650 square feet. The area listed on the site plan is 18,175 square feet. Please verify and correct as necessary. Please submit three copies of your updated site plan (one reduced size) and two sets of any updated pages of the building plans. Please make all submittals to a Development Services Permit Coordinator, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, except on Wednesdays when we are closed for permit review.
