Before I can sign off on the permit, however, the following information needs to be clarified: 1. Landscape Plan. While the new siding proposed for the building should be an attractive improvement to the existing façade, it is understood that the existing landscaping, particularly along Bell Street, will need to be altered or removed in order to install the siding. As a result, please submit a landscape plan for the site showing what is proposed to be removed along with what will be replaced. On the plan, please also show the inclusion of the appropriate street trees on Bell Street, the Greenspire Linden, that will be installed to replace the existing trees on the site. If street trees are proposed for 5th Avenue as well, those must be of the Columnar Sargents Cherry variety. 2. Landscaping Bid. Please submit an estimate of the cost of the landscaping work, including installation, so that the appropriate landscape bonding amount can be determined. Please make all submittals to a Development Services Permit Coordinator, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, except on Wednesdays when we are closed for permit review.
