During review of the plans for the above noted project, it was found that the following information,
clarifications or changes are needed. Please provide written responses as to where the changes can
be found on the plans, and submit revised plans/documents to a Permit Coordinator.
1.Engineer of Record:
a.Provide a lateral analysis of the deck, due to the plywood diaphragm being replaced
with Timbertech surface. Identify additional bracing requirements if necessary.
b.Beam calculations for new 5-1/8x16-1/2 PT deck beam. Be sure to include wet
use, and incising factor, if applicable.
c.Identify column base and cap requirements.
