During review of the plans for the above noted project, it was found that the following information,
clarifications or changes are needed. Please provide written responses as to where the changes can
be found on the plans, and submit revised plans/documents to a Permit Coordinator.
1.Flashing details for the wall to cantilever deck, and wall to plywood deck.
2.Slope information for plywood covered deck
3.Gutter and flashing detail at deck edge and at guard posts.
4.Guard lag bolt requirements.
5.Call out specific hardware for post base and cap requirements.
6.Specify guard baluster and cap material and attachment.
7.Engineer of record:
a.Welding requirements for 45 degree angle brace to plates.
b.Detail of 45 degree plates: size, material and gauge, hole locations.
c.Identify the minimum framing requirements for the corner of the wall supporting the
angle brace. Is the siding material required to be removed prior to installation?
8.Indicate if the cantilevered joists are existing or will be upgraded.
