During review of the re-submitted plans for the above noted project, it was found that the following
information, clarifications or changes are needed. Please provide written responses as to where the
changes can be found on the plans, and submit revised plans/documents to a Permit Coordinator.
1.Provide a complete gravity and lateral engineering analysis including calculations, plans, and
details for the addition, and where there is an impact to the original house. Provide beam,
column, and foundation calculations. These are to be provided by a qualified design
professional (engineer or architect), licensed in the State of Washington.
2.Identify the location and size of the crawl space access to be used for the existing crawl space to
access the new water heater and furnace. The access shall be within 20 of the appliances unless
the passageway is unobstructed and at least six feet high and 22 wide per M1305.1.4, exception
number (2).
