During review of the above noted application, it was found that the following information, corrections, or
clarifications are needed. Please submit revised plans/documents including a written response to each
item below.
Resubmittals can be made at the Development Services Department on the 2nd floor of City Hall. Permit
Center hours are M, T, Th & F from 8am-4:30pm and on Wednesdays from 8:30am-noon.
City of Edmonds handouts, New updated standard details with new reference numbers, application and
other forms, and development code may be referenced on the City website: www.edmondswa.gov under
Services/Permits and Development.
1. The city requires a minimum of 3' of separation of fence and/or structures from the water meter.
Photos and contractor provided information (of the constructed pillar base) has been sent to the Public
Works Water Division lead for review of the placement of the constructed pillar. Will follow up with
any corrections to the pillar if needed.
2. Provide an updated site plan showing the recently installed fence at the back of the property. As
shown on the previous fence site plan submittal, there is a city sewer main and easement at the back
side of the property. The city sewer main and easement will need to be accurately shown on the
updated site plan and the recently installed fence will need to be shown in relation to the sewer main.
A fence crossing the main and easement would be permitted, though a fence running parallel within
the sewer main that is within 10' of the main line is not permitted.
3. Contact the City of Edmonds Public Works at (425) 771-0235 and request that the city sewer main be
located at the back of the property.
4. City of Edmonds Sewer Division will need to have access to the sewer main, please show location of
gates within the fence.
