During review of the above noted application, it was found that the following information,
corrections, or clarifications are needed. Please note that without complete plans a full review could
not be completed. Once complete plans are submitted it is likely that there will be additional
comments.
1) Per our permit records and photos obtained from the Snohomish County Assessor's website it
appears that the carport was not existing or constructed with valid permits. Provide copies of
valid permits or this application will need to include new garage addition with deck above. In
this case see enclosed garage and deck handout. Provide complete construction plans
(foundation, wall sections, roof framing, etc.). Please also note the sample plans in the handouts
are only samples. Site specific plans for your project will need to be submitted for review.
2) Revise site plan to clearly show what is existing and what is proposed. Change note that says
carport below to new garage addition with deck above. Clearly dimension all setbacks to the
structures.
Please redline plans or submit two (2) sets of revised plans/documents (affected sheets only) with a
written response to each of the above items. to a Permit Coordinator.
