During review of the plans for the above noted project, it was found that the following information,
clarifications or changes are needed. Please provide written responses as to where the changes can
be found on the plans, and submit revised plans/documents to a Permit Coordinator.
1.Complete the attached City of Edmonds Special Inspection Agreement for Soils, which
typically will be for the geotech of record.
2.The details on sheets 9.1 and 9.2 have illegible writing due to small font size. Provide legible
details.
3.Windows 101, 208, and 209 should be identified as tempered (safety glazed).
4.Identify elevations on sheet 7.1 and 7.2 (North, or front, etc )
5.Either the engineer of record provides a lateral analysis of the decks, or the designer can provide
a typical detail with some type of suitable lateral bracing, e.g. knee bracin, diagonal bracing, or
diagonal blocking.
6.Identify the species and grade of the PT deck joists, posts, and beams. Identify the deck surface
material.
7.Engineer of record to provide a typical foundation detail, or stamp detail sheet 9.1 (the new
legible version) with the Structural Review stamp.
