During review of the plans for the above noted project, it was found that the following information,
clarifications or changes are needed. Please provide written responses as to where the changes can
be found on the plans, and submit revised plans/documents to a Permit Coordinator.
1.Provide a deck framing plan showing:
a.Joist size, species, and grade.
b.Center to center spacing and direction of span.
c.Slope of garage roof and how it is achieved.
2.For the deck guardrail:
a.Material size, species, and grade.
b.Center to center spacing of posts.
c.How are the posts flashed at the roof level?
3.For the deck ledger:
a.Attachment detail.
b.Zee flashing detail for ledger at cedar deck portion.
c.Flashing detail for existing wall to waterproof deck portion.
4.For the existing garage walls:
a.Are any portions of the wall to be replaced?
b.Spacing of existing studs.
c.Connection detail for wall to joist, include hurricane clip.
