During review of the plans for the above noted project, it was found that the following information,
clarifications or changes are needed. Please provide written responses as to where the changes can
be found on the plans, and submit revised plans/documents to a Permit Coordinator.
1.Engineer of Record:
a.Call out specific hardware for the post to footing, post to beam, and upper post to
lower post connections.
b.Footing for spiral stairs and connection to footing
c.Stamp and sign full size version of engineering on plans.
2.Architect of Record:
a.Stair section and details, including minimum headroom
b.Z flashing detail at ledger
c.The footing detail for the plinth does not match the enginners calculation
package. The copied version on the plan does not match the calculation package,
either. It is missing the rebar requirements. Include the spacing for the #3 ties.
The size is different.
d.Identify railing system to be used and provide construction details meeting the
IRC 200# point load and 50 PSF infill requirements.
3.The plans call for reroofing the house, but are not included with this permit description. If this
is proposed to be done with the deck work, either include it with this permit or obtain a separate
reroofing permit prior to performing the work.
