Please provide written responses as to where the changes can be found on the plans, and submit revised plans/documents to a Permit Coordinator. 1.Provide a roof framing plan. 2.Provide a deck framing plan, including footings, beams, joists, and stairs (if applicable). 3.Provide two cross sections, one each in opposing directions. Include truss or rafter to wall uplift connection. 4.The elevations and plans should indicate an accurate scale. They say ¼” per foot which doesn’t jive with the submitted documents. 5.Provide slab insulation details. 6.Provide footing drain details including location and termination. If a drywell is to proposed, include a detail. 7.Provide a whole house fan size and indicate the location per R1508. Indicate the code compliance path, the method of obtaining the required air exchanges. 8.Identify locations of interconnected smoke detectors throughout the existing residence at the bedrooms and immediate vicinity outside, per R314.3.1. 9.The elevations and floor plans need to match, e.g. the window configuration at the area above the patio door at the great room. 10.Provide framing details and structural calculations for the two story tall walls at the great room. 11.Provide a connection details and framing requirements for basement retaining wall to floor joists in both perpendicular and parallel directions. At the beam to beam, and post to beam connections at highly loaded beams, call out the required hardware on the plans. 12.Indicate safety glazing locations. 13.The submitted engineering calculation package includes a large steel beam, but it is not apparent where it is proposed to be used on the plans. If it is to be used, indicate location and detail connection and load path requirements.
