Dear Mr. & Mrs. Whiting,
The City has received a complaint regarding the storage of a portable basketball hoop on the public right-of-way in front of the subject property.
Although the City does not regulate basketball hoops specifically, the City does regulate storage in the public right-of-way. Please see the enclosed photographs. The photos were taken
prior to the construction of your house, but as you can see, the basketball hoop is outside of your property line and therefore on the public right-of-way.
Please have the basketball hoop stored off the public right-of-way by October 18, 2019 and thereafter.
