During review of the plans for the above noted project, it was found that the following information,
clarifications or changes are needed. Please provide written responses as to where the changes can
be found on the plans, and submit revised plans/documents to a Permit Coordinator.
1.Indicate the method used for the Tie Downs to prevent seismic and wind displacement. The
installer should be able to provide you this information.
2.On the site plan indicate the size and locations of any porches, decks, and stairs, including
dimensions. Provide construction details. Covered porches can be attached to and supported by
the mobile home only with approval from the Department of Labor and Industries (LnI). The
alternative would be to build the covered porch as a self supporting structure-in other words
adding a beam, two posts, and two footings beneath the posts close to the home. Theoretically
the home should be able to be removed while the porch stays in place.
3.Skirting is required, indicate so on the plans.
4.The hitches will have to be removed.
