During review of the plans for the above noted project, it was found that the following information,
clarifications or changes are needed. Please provide written responses as to where the changes can
be found on the plans, andsubmit revised plans/documents to acity Permit Coordinator.
1.Architect of Record:
a.Provide an architect stamp and signature on each plan sheet
b.Provide a lower level floor plan
c.Deck guard post and connection detail
d.Stair sectionand framing detail
e.Existing roof framing plan
2.Engineer of record:
a.The beam calculations for the floorframing beam #1 indicates “fail”.Justify.
b.Provide beam calculations for the doubles 2x12 deck floor joist carrying the stair
jack load.
c.Provide lateral calculations for the west wall where a substantialportion of the
existing shear is proposed to be removed with a new kitchen window.
