Dear Mr. Potesta,
I have reviewed the above building permit application for the Planning Division. Before I can
sign off on the permit, however, the following information needs to be clarified in a written
response and through submittal of updated plans with changes called out:
1. Structural lot coverage: Please add the existing deck and shed (without overhangs) to
the structural lot coverage calculation and show all of that information on the Site
Plan (Sheet A-2).
2. Height calculations: It appears on Sheet A-2 that the height rectangle corners are set
where they building overhangs are not included. Please move the rectangle corners
out 18" on the west and 24" on the east to enclose the entire structure. Make any
adjustments necessary to the height calculations on Sheet A-2 as well as the building
plan elevation sheets (A-8 and A-9). Also on the elevation sheets, please label the
lines of average original grade, proposed elevation of the roof, and maximum allowed
height for the project.

Please submit three copies of your updated site plan and two sets of any updated sheets of
the building plans. Please make all submittals to a Permit Coordinator, Monday through
Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm (8:00 am to 12:00 pm on Wednesdays only). If you have any
