Dear Sirs,
I have reviewed the above building permit applications for the Planning Division. Before I can
sign off, the following information needs to be clarified in a cover letter and through the
submission of updated plans with changes called out:
1. Tree CLIttin land clearing plan: Update the tree plan to include permanent post -
development landscaping for erosion and sediment control. Since irrigation is
prohibited, use of species native to the area is strongly encouraged. The updated plan
must be reviewed and approved by Nelson Geotechnical Associates.
2. Landscaping estimate: Please provide an itemized cost estimate for the proposed
landscaping.
3. Over -excavation on north: On Sheet C1, please update the location of erosion control
fencing to reflect the proposed over -excavation shown on the tree cutting/land
clearing plan.
4. Datum point: On the Site Plan, please label the datum point used as the basis for the
height calculations and show its elevation, whether actual or assumed.
5. Height labels: On Sheets Al, A2 and A3, show the lines of "Average Original Grade",
"Maximum Allowed Height", and "Proposed Building Height" for both the main and
detached structures.

Please submit three copies of the updated site plan and two sets of any updated sheets of the
building plans. Please make all submittals to a Permit Coordinator, Monday through Friday,
8:00 am to 4:30 pm (8:30 to 12:00 only on Wednesdays). If you have any questions, please
