Over Mar. 18,19,and 20"1 irny wife, spent nine hours tryingclean out
even a little bit of the destruction caused by the Pine tree.

damaged bushes or smaller trees. Those that remained in and about
the creek area but were not salvageable. This included removing
four Photina trees that were damaged or broken off from the Pine
falling on them.
Our hope is to clear away the damaged or destroyed trees and try to
save and restore as much of the laurel and other plantings that did
survive. The areas along each side of the creek can be reinforced
and planted with ferns, smaller tree types and other native ground
cover popular in the Pacific Northwest.
