There have been some concerns from the contractor on how to provide a cleanout at the property line for the
existing side sewer due to an existing rockery in the right-of-way and tree located on the south neighboring
property. In a discussion with Jeanie McConnell and Tim Harris the following was determined:
1) The rockery must be removed.
2) When the rockery is removed a 2 to 1 slope must be maintained. If the contractor can achieve a 2 to 1
slope and they do not damage or remove the existing tree located near the southwest corner of the property
(adjacent to property pin and rockery) then Tim will allow them to put the cast iron lamphole cover over the
cleanout where the contractor tied into the existing side sewer.
3) If the tree is damaged or removed then the contractor will be required to put in a 6" cleanout at the property
line.
