Johnson Masterworks 1132 Duchess Rd Bothell, WA 98012 RE: 23214 — 92 Ave W, Permit #2006-0661, Driveway Slope Exceeding 14% Dear Mr. Johnson, This is in response to your letter dated July 28, 2006 requesting approval to exceed the maximum allowed driveway slope of 14%, specifically, a 50-60 lineal foot section with a proposed slope of 15.5%. Review of your letter and the elevations of your proposed driveway and site indicate that an overall driveway slope of 13% over the entire length of your driveway can be achieved with a moderate amount of additional grading that would not require an unfeasible effort on your part. Your request to exceed a driveway slope of 14% is therefore denied. Please note that prior to pour, a driveway form inspection will be required. Call the Engineering Inspection line at 425-771-0220, ext. 1326, to schedule your driveway, as well as all other engineering inspections.
