Per standard detail E7.8, the vault shall be 6-feet wide x 11-feet in length. The vault has not been shown to scale on the Site Plan or the Partial Utility Plan. Please revise as required. Please also refer to comment #14 below. SHEET C3 - The size of the DCDA has not been revised as requested. Also, please refer to detail · E7.8, shown on sheet C4, for the correct orientation of the DCDA in the vault. Either the vault or the DCDA will need to be rotated 90 degrees. Rotating the DCDA will require additional bends in the fire line and could affect fire flows. Flow calcs will need to be revised accordingly. Also, please revise the fire line layout to show the FDC connection to the supply line downstream of · the PIV. 1 of 2 DATE E-MAILED 5/16/08 PAGE(s) Old Milltown - Renovation 4.The civils have been revised with regards to the grease interceptor location. Please show, revise or provide the following: a)ok b)Show the connection of the outfall line from the grease interceptor to the 8” sewer line within the building. The outfall line has been shown. Where there are 90 degree bends in the line a cleanout is · required. Please revise the plan accordingly. Cleanouts have not been shown or called out as requested. · Cleanouts have not been shown or called out as requested. · c)ok 5.Sheet C2 – Revisions are being made to the parking lot as shown by the clouded area. Please callout the specific architectural plan sheet (A1.0.2 ? ) that is being referred to for details on the revision. A1.0.2 has been referenced, but A1.0.2 has not been updated to reflect the parking lot revisions. A2.1, · A2.1.1 and A2.2 also need to be updated. Please refer to comment #6 below. Thank you for referencing A-1.0.2. The curb ramp changes however, are to be clearly identified on the · civil plan sheet. Please revise C2 to show how the curb ramp at the corner of the parking lot and Maple Street will constructed and how the pedestrian ailse will tie into the landing. Provide finished grade elevations and elevations of the retaining wall in this area. 6.ok 7.Sheet C3 - The RPBA on the domestic service is to be located above ground in a hot box per standard detail E7.11 or on the interior of the building per standard detail #7.10. The RPBA cannot be located in the DCDA vault. Detail E7.10 has been referenced on this plan sheet, but detail E7.11 has been provided on sheet · C4. The RPBA being installed is actually 3” and for this reason detail E7.10 is not an option (sorry for missing this last go around) and you will be required to install the RPBA in a hotbox. You may want to discuss this requirement further with Linda McMurphy to see if there is an acceptable interior installation for a 3” RPBA. RPBA’s have been shown for both the domestic and the irrigation systems, in a hotbox on the · exterior of the building. The plans state the hotbox will be wall mounted and it appears as though both RPBA’s will be in the same hotbox. Please provide a detail/spec for this type of arrangement as this is not consistent with City standard detail E7.11. Also, it appears as though the location of the hotbox is in conflict with the Mechanical Yard gate swing. 8.ok 9.ok. 10.ok 11.ok 12.ok 13.ok 14.ok 15.ok 16.A1.0.3 – Encroachment Plan – shows revision #8, but not revision #9.
