Please redline plans or submit two (2) sets of revised plans/documents (affected sheets only) with a written response to each of the items below to a Permit Coordinator, 1) On the proposed floor plan clearly distinguish between existing walls, new walls and walls to be removed (i.e. different shading, dotted walls, etc, and provide legend). 2) Provide a section detail to show footings in relation to firm bearing undisturbed soil and the existing rockery. Footings must extend to fum bearing undisturbed soil. 3) Show location of smoke detectors through the existing house. 4) Add all posts and roof beam information to the roof framing plans to verify spans. 5) Provide layout and stamped truss sheets from the buss manufacturer. 6) On the foundation plan show all covered porch footings and specify where new footing shown in section C2 occurs. Also, on the foundation plan specify size of square deck footings. 7) Coordinate section detail call outs (i -e. C2, E2 and D2 on the detail page I believe are C4, E4 and D4 on the floor plans). 8) New proposed 2x4 walls will not accommodate R-21 required insulation. Upgrade to 2x6 studs or provide rigid insulation. 9) Provide detail for deck guardrail (36" minimum high, pickets spaced so that a 4" sphere can not pass, etc.). 10) Clarify deck framing at the sistered joists.
