Please designate the main public entrance to the building on the site plan. Pursuant to Edmonds Community Development Code (ECDC) 20.60.025.A.1, the maximum sign area is one square foot per lineal foot of the wall containing the main public entrance to the building. For example, if this wall is 50 lineal feet, then you are allowed 50 square feet of sign area (which you may divide up and use on other walls). Please show how your proposal meets this code requirement – this will probably mean showing the breakdown of area for each of the channel letters. If you show the calculations, I’d be happy to use them. Thank you for your cooperation. Please redline plans or submit three sets of revised plans/documents (affected sheets only) with a written response to each of the above items.
