During review of the above noted revision, it was found that the following information, corrections, or
clarifications are needed. Please provide written responses to the comments below and resubmit 2 sets of
revised plans/documents to Theresa Umbaugh, Permit Coordinator.
1) Revised Sheet 2 shows a concrete pilaster guard at the upper floor deck. Provide beam calculation for
additional loads, construction detail stamped/signed by a State licensed Professional Engineer, including
calculations for the concrete guard (IBC 1607.7), anchoring, height, etc. Also, additional posts appear to
have been added. Revise details and framing plan on Sheets 2 & 3 accordingly.
2) Revised Sheet 2 shows balusters sitting on top of the covered porch. Specify the material. If concrete,
provide beam calculation for additional loads and connection detail stamped/signed by a State licensed
professional engineer. Revise details on Sheet 1 &3 accordingly.
