During review of the above noted revision, it was found that the following information, corrections, or
clarifications are needed. Please redline plans or submit two (2) sets of revised plans/documents (affected
sheets only) with a written response to each of the above items to a Permit Coordinator.
1) Specify size and spacing of floor joists and what they are sitting on. Also, wood in contact with concrete
must be pressure treated.
2) Minimum floor insulation required is R-30 which will fit in 2x10 joists. If 2XIO's or larger are not used
then rigid insulation will be required. Note on plans.
3) Specify headroom on the section detail. Code requires 7' minimum.
4) Minimum roof insulation required is R-38. Please revise plans.
5) Please show smoke detectors on the plans.
