During re -review of the above noted application, it was found that the following information,
corrections, or clarifications are needed. Please redline plans or submit two (2) sets of revised
plans/documents (affected sheets only) with a written response to each of the items below to a
Permit Coordinator.
1) 2/9/07 according to the grades shown on the grading plan final 2:1 cuts as required by the
Geotech Report will not be possible. Provide retaining wall alogg the West property line with
stamped and signed detail and calculations or provide letter from Geotech of Record statin
that less than 2:1 foal grades are acceptable. Geotech report provided mentions a retaining
wall along the West property line and the site plan included in their report shows this as well.
Please show this retaining wall on the site plan submitted to the City with top and bottom wall
elevations as well as a construction detail and calculations stamped and signed by the
Engineer of Record. Retaining walls on sheet S2.0 are restrained at the top and can not be
used for unrestrained site retaining walls. Provide top and bottom wall elevations for existing
rockery to verify that it is not supporting a surcharge from the driveway.
