Project: McDougall Kitchen Remodel
Project Address: 200 Beach Place, #102
During review of the plans for the above noted project, it was found that the following information,
clarifications or changes are needed. Provide written responses to each comment and where changes can be
found on the plans. Submit revised plans/documents to Theresa Umbaugh, Permit Coordinator.
1. On the plans, note the Type of Construction (11M) and Occupancy (R2).
2. Minimum 50 cfm exhaust fan required in the laundry room.
3. Exhaust ducts/dryer vents:
a. Show the vent path to the exterior of the building for the exhaust fans (kitchen and laundry), and
dryer duct.
b. Ducts must terminate a minimum of Y-0" from building openings.
c. Provide details showing how the ducts will be run in relation to the 1 -hour floor -ceiling assembly so
the fire rating is maintained (i.e. with shafts, lined joist bays, soffits below the 1 -hour fire rated
assembly, etc.
