Provide written responses to each comment and where changes can be found on the plans. Please resubmit 2 sets of revised plans/details to Theresa Umbaugh, Permit Coordinator. 1. On the floor plan note all uses of space (e.g. living room, bedroom, kitchen, closet, bathroom, etc.). 2. Note on the 1 -hour wall detail that this detail applies to all surrounding walls (not just the party walls) of the unit since this is a Type VA (1 -hour rated) building. 3. Note on floor plans if the ceiling sheetrock is being replaced. If it is, the architect must provide a 1 -hour listed and tested floor -ceiling assembly detail with an STC (sound transmission class) of 50 or more. If it is not, specify that only the wall sheetrock will be removed. 4. Smoke detectors are required in each sleeping room and in areas accessing each sleeping room. They must be hardwired with battery backup and be interconnected. Show the locations on the floor plan.
