We visited the she today at the request Gordon 4 Johnson with Masterworks, LLC (contractor). The '81tes''
located at 23214 92!w Avenue West in Edmonds, Washington.
5MEWALK SUB!2RADE PREPARATION: The contractor placed approximately 4 to 10 inches of 5/8 -inch
crushed rook for the proposed Clan 8 Asphalt sidewalk located along the west side of 92nd Avenue West','As
shown on the attached site plan excerpt. The 10 inch thickness of 5/8 -inch crushed rock was placed in it 12 inch
wide strip along the immediate inside face of the curb. The remaining 518 -inch crushed rock was placed
approximately 4 inches thick along the remainder of the sidewalk subgradc area. The subgrade consists of sm

5/8 -inch imported crimhed rock (Curve No.1, 133.8 pcf at 6.9 percent optimum moisture content). Prior to 68
crushed rock placement, the exposed subgrade soil consists of dense brown silty flue to coarse sand with
occasional gravel.
The crushed rock was placed in 2 to 3 -inch loose lifts and compacted with a walk -behind vibratory plate
compactor. Four in-place density tests were taken in the crushed rock subgmde. The test results indicated that the
arm tested was compacted to at least 95 percent of the maximum dry density estimated In accordance with
ASTM D-1557 and the project plans and specifications.
The contractor (Masterworks, LLC) will call us if we are needed again.
