During re -review of the above noted revision, it was found that the following information,
corrections, or clarifications are needed.
1) 3/7/08 Still need. Please revise building section on sheet 2 to match actual conditions (i.e.
footing supporting 4x4 post at the existing foundation wall, direction of floor joist, etc.).
2) 3/7/08 Please provide section detail for construction of new framed wall on the existing
foundation from the foundation through the floor joists supported on this wall. 6x10 beam
for crawl space access does not reflect actual construction. The existing foundation all at this
location, per my site visit, was about 2'-3' high and was all open into the crawlspace area.
Please show beam for this area to completely support the floor joist and provide beam
calculation.
3) 3/7/08 Still need. Please show 2x10 floor joists extending all the way to the 4x10 at the

3/7/08 A new footing and post was added to the plan but it does not line up with the beam.
Please clarify. Plans show 4x10 at the fireplace between the two footings but how will the floor
joists be supported on the other sides of that beam? If the beam extends to the exterior wall and
to the beam past the furnace please show it as well as how it is carried to bearing at each end
(i.e. hangers at the furnace side and post and footing the other).

3/7/08 if there are beams in this location please note size and label as existing. It is important
to provide complete framing information to see how the existing ties into the proposed. Please
specify size of the beam that runs the same direction as the floor joist near the storage area and
provide calculation including point loads if the 6x10 and 4x10 beams are hanging from them.
