During re -review of the above noted application, it was found that the following information,
corrections, or clarifications are needed. Please redline plans or submit two (2) sets of revised
plans/documents (affected sheets only) with a written response to each of the items below to a
Permit Coordinator.
1) ok
2) 3/11/08 Still need. Structural Calculations submitted were for beams only. Provide structural
calculations for pin pile design based on all design criteria in the Geotechnical Report by HWA
GeoSciences Inc. Dated October 20, 2006.
3) 3111108 Only two framing plans were submitted with a few details. These details are marked
14 like the previous ones but they do not match the previous detail. Please clarify what
applies where and if the original details are no longer applicable. Also S sheet was not
resubmitted but some of the details (not all) are referenced on the new plans. Also clarify if
these are still applicable and reference all details to their location on the plans. On the
foundation plan cross reference all foundation details to their applicable locations (i.e. B/S 1).

5) 3/1.108 Will need before permit issuance. Special inspections are required for the following.
Complete the enclosed special inspection agreement signed by the owner, the general contractor
and the special inspector (Geotechnical Engineer of Record) and submit to the City for approval
prior to issuance.
• Soil Bearing Verification
• Pin pile installation including pile cap
6) 3/11/08 New: For the upper deck specify how the angle portion of the deck (floor joists)
between the 4x8 and 4x12 beam will be supported.
7) 3/11/08 New: Clarify framing on the lower deck. No beams are shown and direction of the joists
are not specified. Please add all applicable framing information to this plan.
