If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. I look forward to working with you on this project. Please provide a written response to the items mentioned below… 1.Trash Enclosure: Please continue to work with Recycling Coordinator Steve Fisher in the Public Works Department on the location and details of the proposed trash enclosure. 2.Signage: A monument sign is shown on the site plan. Please submit a sign permit for review (see enclosed). 3.Height: It appears that point “C” of the height rectangle falls off site. Refer to ECDC 21.40.030.B (below) for how to calculate the height of offsite points. Please revise the height of point “C” to comply with the offsite procedure and update the site plan (and the elevations) as appropriate. Please don’t be alarmed; per the survey, it appears that this may actually help you a little bit. ECDC 21.40.030 Height. A. Height means the average vertical distance, from the average level of the undisturbed soil of the site covered by a structure, to the highest point of the structure. B. “Average level” shall be determined by averaging elevations of the downward projections of the four corners of the smallest rectangle which will enclose all of the building, excluding a maximum of 30 inches of If a corner falls off the site, its elevation shall be the average elevation of the two points projected eaves. downward where the two sides of the rectangle cross the property line .
