During review of the plans for the above noted project, it was found that the following information,
clarifications or changes are needed. Please provide written responses as to where the changes can
be found on the plans, and submit revised plans/documents to Theresa Umbaugh, Senior Permit
Coordinator. Thank you.
1.As stated on the Building Division plan review comments of March 24, 2008 for the
main building permit, the mechanical system for the building must be designed and
stamped by a State licensed mechanical engineer.
2.A full review cannot proceed without first satisfying the item above, however this review
has noted the following issues that will need addressing:
Please indicate individual thermostatic controls for each floor level within the

office space. WSEC 1412.1
If the furnace closet is to be a cold room due to combustion air openings, show
·
that this room is thermally isolated from the surrounding conditioned space.
Provide outdoor air calculations per State VIAQ Table 3-4, with details on the
·
plans to show how this is provided and distributed.
Show the locations of all outdoor air inlets and exhaust outlets, their proximity to
·
each other and to property lines, building openings and height above grade, as
applicable.
