Project: Roof Reframing
Project Address: 9510 Edmonds Way
During review of the plans for the above noted project, it was found that the following information,
clarifications or changes are needed. Please provide written responses as to where the changes can
be found on the plans, and submit revised plans/documents to a Permit Coordinator.
1. The proposed 2x6 sistered joists appear to be severely overspanned. Please either identify the
existing beam, is any, that shortens the span, or provide a code compliant alternative. This may
require the services of an engineer licensed in the State of Washington.
2. Keep in mind that all portions of the dryrotted wood will need to be removed.
3. Hardwired, interconnected smoke alarms will now need to be installed throughout the duplex if
not already in place.
4. A separate electrical permit will be required for any electrical work..
