During review of the plans for the above noted project, it was found that the following information,
clarifications or changes are needed. Please provide written responses as to where the changes can
be found on the plans, and submit revised plans/documents to a Permit Coordinator.
1. Provide the lateral calculations that are the basis for the engineered shear -wall table and details.
2. Provide engineered gravity calculations for the built-up beam.
3. Provide engineered gravity calculations for footing at 6x6 post location.
4. Call out hardware for post and beam, built-up beam to beam, and joist connections at the
addition.
5. Call out post size, .species and grade at built up beam location.
6. Provide floor system, membrane specs, and flashing details at the mini -balcony.
7. Provide guard details at the same location.
8. It is not clear whether the HD5A holdowns at the existing garage wall are existing or will be
retrofitted. If they are to be retrofitted, have the EOR spec out the bolting and epoxy
requirements.
