Subject: 2010 City of Edmonds Water Main Replacement Program— SEPA Exemption
Dear Mr. Sibrel:
The City of Edmonds Planning Division has reviewed the proposed scope of work for the 2010
Water Main Replacement Program, which includes replacing water mains at various locations
throughout the City of Edmonds with new pipes, all of which are eight inches or less in diameter.
Upon review of the proposed work, the City has concluded that the project is exempt from the
requirements of SEPA pursuant to WAC Section 197-11-800(23)(b) since all of the new water
mains are eight inches or less in diameter. This letter provides an exemption from the need to
undergo SEPA review from the City of Edmonds. If you have any questions regarding this
