Below are listed responses to applicable comments included within your Notice dated 1-7-10.
Item 14: In lieu of the concrete anchor for the 12LF of 6" PVC between YB's #3 & #4, the contractor
T.E. Briggs states they installed a sand collar at the pipe entering the lower YB #4. This sand
collar provides a frictional fitting. Since the length of 6" pipe uphill of the sand collar is only
12LF, this is an acceptable installation.
Item 16: The location of the access lid at approximately 64eet west of the control structure is an
approved installation. This location provides not only access to the control structure but
access to the sump area of the vault for any required maintenance,
Item 17: As -Constructed information for the concrete vault and control structure are provided on the
As -Constructed Drawing prepared by this engineer and dated 1-15-10, The As -Constructed
condition is consistent with the approved design.
