Dear Ms. Matsumura:
The purpose of this letter is to inform you that the above referenced permit application is
about to expire. According to Edmonds Community Development Code Chapter
19.00.005(A)(5), applications are only valid for a period of 180 days unless a written
request for application extension is submitted to the Building Official. If an application

extension is granted it may only be extended for an additional ISO days for a total period
of one year.
Due to the present economic situation, the City Council has approved a temporary
ordinance which would allow an extension of applications for an additional year. Your
application was extended for an additional year and your application will expire April Is,
2010. No more extensions maybe granted.
Be advised, if in the future you decided to pursue this project you shall be required to
submit a new complete application and pay all new applicable fees. If you wish to have
your application materials and plans returned please immediately inform our offices.
Without such notice the application materials and plans will be destroyed 10 days from
the date of expiration. If you have any questions feel free to contact our office at 425-
