Project Address: 18101 Sunset Way
During review of the plans for the above noted project, it was found that the following information,
clarifications or changes are needed. Please provide written responses as to where the changes can
be found on the plans, and submit revised plans/documents to Marie Harrison, Senior Permit
Coordinator. Thank you.
1.Provide more complete working drawings including the following:
a.Framing and foundation plan (see attached Deck handout, item 3A)
b.Show attachments to house and adjacent decks.
c.Indicate type of decking material to be used.
d.Indicate that all hardware is to be hot-dipped galvanized, stainless steel, or
otherwise corrosion resistant.
e.Show guardrail details and post attachments. If the glass railings are a
manufactured system, provide the manufacturerÂ’s specifications. Note that guards
shall be designed to resist 200# at the top rail and 50 psf at intermediate portions.
2.The stair stringers as shown seem to be overspanned. Please provide a more specific
drawing/description of the stair contruction.
