Please provide written responses as to where the changes can be found on the plans, and submit revised plans/documents to Theresa Umbaugh, Senior Permit Coordinator. Thank you. 1. If plumbing is to be included in this permit, please include piping plans for drain, waste and venting (including grease trap) and indicate backflow devices for each of the plumbing fixtures as needed. Otherwise, list plumbing as a separate permit on the face of the plans. 2. If mechanical and gas piping are to be included in this permit, please provide manufacturerÂ’s specifications for all equipment, locations of all exhaust terminations, and other applicable information as on the Commercial Mechanical handout, attached. Otherwise, list mechanical as a separate permit on the face of the plans. Note that all equipment must be listed by an approved listing agency (UL, AGA, NSF, etc.) Please be aware that the rear of the building is 2 feet from the property line, and exhaust and intake locations are limited by the International Mechanical Code. 3. Please show on the plans how the space will be ventilated to comply with IBC 1203. 4. Please show the dimensions of the accessible parking stall and access aisle. The width of these must total 16 feet. Show that the access aisle is striped. ANSI 117.1 section 502.2 5. Show that the entry door has a maximum threshold height of ½Â” and has a flush landing on each side of the door. ANSI 117.1 section 404.2.4 6. Indicate that all door hardware is lever style or otherwise accessible. ANSI 117.1 section 404.2.6 7. Indicate that the customer service counter has an accessible portion that is no taller than 36 inches for a length of at least 36 inches. ANSI 117.1 section 904.3.1 8. Indicate on the plans that the walls within 2 feet of the toilet are of a smooth, hard, non-absorbent surface to a height of 4 feet. IBC 1210.2 9. Provide details for all restroom grab bars in compliance with ANSI 117.1 section 604.5. 10. Show a clear width of at least 5 feet for the toilet from the sidewall to the lav. ANSI 117.1 section 604.3.1 11. Show that the toilet seat height is between 17 and 19 inches. ANSI 117.1 section 604.4 12. Please show details for the top of wall and ceiling construction at the restroom and office. It appears in the detail provided that the ceiling is a suspended system (t-bar) but there are no details to support this. Also, toilet rooms shall not open directly into food preparation areas, therefore a ceiling is required. IBC 2902.2.1.1 13.
