Dear Mr. Echelbarger:
I received your request to withdraw your building application. Thank, you. In your letter
you mentioned unused fees. The only fees I see that were collected are $3,179.00 for
plan review of your building submittal packet. Those fees were used for review of your
building application by the planning department (3 reviews), building department (3
reviews plus consultant review) and engineering department (3 reviews). The initial plan
review fee covers three reviews. If you were to continue with this project, your next
correction submittal would be charged at the rate of $170.00 per department for the
fourth review and subsequent reviews if necessary.
In addition to the above mentioned reviews, peer review was conducted by Reid
Middletons's office for your proposed sewer plan which is beyond the scope of a normal
single family review. Please remit a check payable to the City of Edmonds in the amount
of $785.00 within ten days Thank you.
