Dear Mr. Lawler:
I would like to request a modification to the approved plans for remodel of my above -referenced
residence. The plans call for the closet in the den to be removed because the room is not to be used as a
sleeping room. The former closet is not easily removed due to existing wiring for lighting and framing
that ties it into the vaulted ceiling. We would like to convert the former closet into open storage shelving
for linens, office supplies and other household items, as shown on the attached copy of the relevant plan
sheet.
Our building permit expires May 23, 2010. We would like to resolve this issue so we can get our final
inspection prior to that date, so we hope that you can address this quickly. Please contact me if you have
any questions, and to inform me of your decision.
