During review of the plans for the above noted project, it was found that the following information,
clarifications or changes are needed. Please provide written responses as to where the changes can
be found on the plans, and submit revised plans/documents to Theresa Umbaugh, Senior Permit
Coordinator. Thank you.
1.On the front page, change the listed code references from 2006 versions to 2009, as
appropriate.
2.Either show on the plans how ventilation of the spaces will be provided to comply with IBC
Chapter 12 or indicate it as a deferred mechanical permit submittal.
3.Indicate tempered glass for window numbers 7-9, 17-19 and 27-29 in the window schedule.

4.Show on the plans slab perimeter insulation at the new foundation locations. Provide details.

5.Please adjust the drawing scales indicated on A4.01 to reflect the correct scales.
6.Please change the stair riser height on sheet A5.00 to show a maximum of 7 inches. IBC
1009.4.2
7.Since you are proposing to modify the entire storefront of the space, please provide lateral
calculations from the structural engineer to justify the proposed design. IBC 3404.4
8.Please transfer the structural details from the calcs onto the plan set. Include callouts on the
plans to reference the associated details as applicable.
