During review of the plans for the above noted project, it was found that the following information,
clarifications or changes are needed. Please provide written responses as to where the changes can
be found on the plans, and submit revised plans/documents to Linda Thornquist, Permit
Coordinator. Thank you.
1.Please include on the plans a description of the scope of work. The application originally
stated the permit was for 3 exhaust fans only.
2.What function does the BF-1 serve? Please provide adequate information on the plans.
3.The med gas closet is rated as one-hour construction. Penetrations by ductwork must be
protected by one-hour-rated shafts to the exterior of the building. Please provide a detail for
the location of the penetrations of both the supply and exhaust ducts into the closet. If fire
wrap is to be utilized as suggested on the TI plans, provide specs and sufficient details to
show code compliance. IFC 3006
