Dear Mr. Shaw:
According to Building Division records, the above referenced permits will expire on
December 18, 2010. Edmonds Community Development Code (ECDC) 19.00.005.6.d.
states if applicant cannot complete work issued under an extended permit of trvo (2)
years, the applicant may request in writing, prior to the second year expiration, an
extension for a third an final year. Provided there Inas beenat least one (1) required
progress inspection conducted by the building inspector prior to the extension, the
permit shall be extended for a third and, frnal year. hr lieu of permit fees for the third
year extension, inspection fees shall be charged far the remaining work based on the
number of'required inspections remaining for the project far all city departments, in
this case $1,020.00.
Note: Building permit fees and time frames are established by the Edmonds Community
Development Code and cannot be waived by the Building Official. If you do not receive
your final or do not renew your permit prior to the expiration date, all fees and a new
Permit application are required.
