During review of the plans for the above noted project, it was found that the following information,
clarifications or changes are needed. Please provide written responses as to where the changes can
be found on the plans, and submit revised plans/documents to Linda Thornquist, Permit
Coordinator.
1.Please indicate on the plans where backflow devices are needed.
a.Premise isolation is required by Public Works Water department. The RPBA is to be
located inside the building prior to any connections.
b.It appears that backflow protection is needed at the commercial dishwasher and the
ice maker. Please indicate RPBA devices at each of these fixtures.
2.Show an expansion tank at the water heater.
3.Show the floor drains on the plumbing line drawings. Note that they will need trap primers.
4.Indicate on the plans that indirect drains will be provided for the ice maker, dishwasher and
food prep sinks.
