During review of the plans for the above noted project, it was found that the following information,
clarifications or changes are needed. Please provide written responses as to where the changes can
be found on the plans, and submit revised plans/documents to Marie Harrison, Senior Permit
Coordinator. Thank you.
1.Please submit a completed Interior Lighting Summary form which may be found at
www.neec.net/energy-codes.
2.Provide a copy of the plan review letter from the Snohomish Health District for your project.
3.On the Title sheet, please make the following changes in the Applicable Codes section:
a.The Accessible and Usable Buildings and Facilities should be the 2003 edition, not
2006.
b.Delete the reference to the VIAQ, as it is no longer adopted by the state.
4.Please distinguish between existing and new walls on the floor plan.
5.Show a maximum height of 36 inches and a minimum length of 36 inches for the accessible
checkout counter. ANSI A117.1 section 904.3
6.The 48 inch tall door into the counter area is noted as self closing. Please note whether or not
the door has a latch as well. If so, then provide a clear floor space on the push side of the
door 12 inches beyond the latch edge of the door by 48 inches deep. ANSI A117.1 section
