During a review of the plans for the above noted project, it was found that the following
information, clarifications, or changes are needed. Please provide written responses as to where the
changes can be found on the plans, cloud all changes on the revised plans, and submit the revised
plans/documents to a Permit Coordinator. New plans or pages incorporating the items noted in the
review comments can also be submitted. Thank you.
1.To meet the Planning Division requirements/limitations regarding this project, changes in
the structural framing were required. The construction of this project exceeds the limits of
prescriptive design per the International Residential Code and was therefore designed by a
registered professional engineer. Changes made to the deck and roof framing plans (pages 7
and 8), along with supporting structural calculations, that were requested in the plan review
comments dated March 12, 2012 need to be made by the engineer of record.
