RE: Residential Underground Heating Oil Tank at 1056 Daley Street
Edmonds, Washington 98020
Filco Company Inc. pumped out approximately 20 gallons of residual fuel
from one approximate 300 gallon residential underground heating oil tank,
observed the excavation of the tank by SCL from the above narned property
and the loading of the tank onto a Filco truck. The tank and its contents were
disposed of according to the codes and guidelines set forth by the Washington
State Department of Ecology and local fire department regulations.
At the time of the tank removal, perforations were observed in the shell of the
tank. Soil in the vicinity of the tank showed signs of oil saturation and
standing oil was observed in the excavation pit which was pumped out by
Filco.
